Recently installed a new hard drive and loaded XP. Now the volume is VERY low
(at full volume)...even after adjusting "sounds" in the control panel...Any
help? Please?

I would DOUBLE CHECK to be sure that you have your speakers plugged into the
correct jack. Many sound cards will give sound even if in the Mic Jack. So
double check to be sure you plugeed into the correct jack. I would lay my bet
there.
Did you open the Voulm control? if so did you increase all of the Sliders
to about 90%?
