have not helped. also i have been trying to restore the system and the
restore points are there but when i select one and restart i get "cannot

Actually Lime wire is not Illegal file sharing program it is a P2P file
sharing and id does have a disclaimer about sharing copyrighted material and
sharing illegal software. P2P programs are just that programs it is up to the
indvidual user how it is used saying it is illegal is like saying a FTP or
any program for sharing files is illegal, FTP Is built into most operating
systems including Linux. but you might want to look at www.limewire.com and
see if they have a fix for it.

You will not find anyone to help you with stealing copyrighted material,
which is the sole purpose of Limewire.

Best answer you'll get: Uninstall Limewire and pay for the software, music
and videos you want.

Obviously, you have not been watching the news. Several P2P providers have
been shut down, and they *ARE* illegal. Having a disclaimer is no
justification, nor does it prevent what limewire exists for, the illegal
transfer of copyrighted material.

Note: Grokster was the latest shut down. Others, most notable napster, have
been shut down.
They exist to trade illegal software...and for no other reason. Your FTP
analogy does not hold water, as FTP and HTTP are not designed from the
ground up to share illegal software...if they were, they *would* be used as
such.

Actually i have seen the story about grokster and several other places that
have been shutdown but napster is still back in business and morpheus is
still there and refer to this story
http://www.publicknowledge.org/pressroom/releases/pressrelease.2005-06-27.0393116909
and this one http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20051107/ap_on_hi_te/downloading_music

If you read the limewire website they do not approve of sharing copyrighted
material the P2P programs were created for file sharing no what files you
share are entirely up to you FTP is a file transfer now if i setup a FTP site
and put copyrighted files on the FTP site and gave 1 mil people access to the
ftp is that illeagal ??? Hell yes but if i just put pictures i have taken and
some midi files i created it isn't . Naptster is back up but they now have a
central location and charge for the music they sell and give the money to the
music industrie ( Which is what they wanted in the first place ) also is bit
torrent software products illegal since they can be used to share copyrighted
material ( And belive me you can find more copyrighted material via a bit
torrent that you can find via lime wire just get a searchable bit torrent
client and take a look ) do a search (Google, MSN, Ask Jeeves or any other
search engine ) for Bit torrents and see how many products and websites it
will give you adn take a look at www.uri-movies.tk or tmd.com and you can get
1st run downlaodable movies. I could go on and on about this but i could
never change another person view on the P2P software so i'll stop.
