learning security & priviledges |

I'm hoping someone can point me to a website for learning directory &
file security & priviledges. Foe example ... I have a 'central' file
sharing computer that ('A') is used in the context of local and domain
logons. Another computer ('B'), hard-NIC'd to this computer creates
files on 'A', and in users' directories, but 'B" can only have a single
logon. Therefore, I have one "general user" ('B') writing files to
many directories, which are associated with individual users. Ideally,
individuals should have full control of their directory and offspring,
but not to others' directories.
I seem to have it almost done, but subdirectories and files are being
created that do not necessarily carry the parent directory's
priviledges, and the options for inheritance are somewhat confusing at
the dialog box.
