Hello all:

I am trying to follow exercise 17 of liming's but but having difficulty
in creating
ewf partion and hence creating a bootable cd.

I have two disks on the computer I am using the first disk contains
a single primary partition and has all the development tools installed
it.
The second disk 3 partions: the first is 150mb fat partion
the second is 900 mb fat partition and the third is a primary
partiontion
ntfs formated.

The next steps I took are as follows, I created project called
cd150.slx
in the target designer and added all the components listed
on page 287 of liming's book:

el torito
enhanced write filter
ewf ntldr
ewf management console
enable auto layout
fat
cdfs

I then used the target designers F7 or Build Target Image to write to
drive E: which is first partion of the second drive.

After that I closed the target designer and ran the hd2iso program to
create an iso image of what was written to drive e: and burnt this
to cd.

I turned off the computer and disconnected primary drive and rebooted
with the previously created cd in the cd rom drive. (boot from cdrom
was disabled)

Windows XPe booted and ran through the fba process but when
I ran ewfmgr at the command line I get:

EWFMGR No EWF volume is detected

Here is an abbreviated output of the fblog.txt file:
