After applying Rollup 2, the Linksys Extender (update 1 applied) can't show
certain TV channels. The MCE system has no issues showing all channels at the
same time...ideas?

Thank you.

What happens when you try to view the channels in question? Also, what
channels are they?

I'm sitting in Germany - Frankfurt/Main to be exact. The channels are normal
TV channels - no premium channels - and delivered free via DVB-T. Before
applying rollup 2, those channels (ProSieben, etc) worked fine.

Thanks for following up.

Is it possible that those "certain TV channels" are precisely ZDF, 3sat,
ProSieben and SAT.1? These channels have AC-3 audio streams, which are
support by MCE 2005 since Rollup 2...

Regards,«

Not living in Germany, I'm not too familiar with those channel ;-)

As Robert mentioned separately, it's possible that those channels have AC-3
audio, which is not supported on MCX (keep in mind that Extenders are only
available/supported in the US/Canada, where all SDTV in Media Center has
MPEG audio). If you have GraphEdit, you should be able to use that to
check whether the audio track is AC-3 or MPEG.
