I was just trying to cleanup my XPe configuration file. I tried to
remove
- Client for Netware Services
- Internet Explorer
- Windows Media Player 9

Everytime I tried to remove a component and ran the dependency check,
the target designer adds me these components to my configuration
because of the dependencies. I tried to climb the tree of dependencies
but soon I knew that it was invain as the tree ended up on the
components which were essential for my image. I am using XPe SP2.

Is there anyway of removing these components without pulling XPe
pulling back these components. I know there is an Auto-Resolve
Dependency thing but I am afraid to disable that coz I may miss on a
critical component. Should satisfy myself on the components I already
have in my configuration coz it may have been worse than that!!

Waiting anxiously for reply,

In configuration of TD find option names "Auto Resolve Dependencies" and disable check box.
