I use Media Center through my extender probably 95% of the time. In the past
I've had to keep my PC running all the time because if I let my PC go into
sleep mode, I cannot reconnect to the PC at the extender.

Did rollup 2 fix this problem? Is there any work arounds?

To be more clear. I'd like to know if I can put my PC into sleep mode and
still have my extender work.

Thanks.

If you configure your PC NIC in Device Manager such that it can bring the PC
out of standby (i.e. check the relevant check box), the act of the MCX
connecting to your PC should wake it up. Note though that this is highly
PC/NIC dependent - I've seen buggy NIC drivers that cause the PC to do bad
things/not allow the MCX to connect after resuming from standby. Also, be
aware that other network traffic will also be able to wake up your PC if you
configure this.

I had given up hope of getting a response.

I'll check out my PC's BIOS and the software to make sure the wake up
setting is turned on.

Thanks!
