Yes there is,
in OE, create a folder for the saved items, (you can also create sub folders
for particular threads) and then in the NG, right-click on the thread you
want to save, and left click on "Copy to Folder". Select the folder you want
it copied to from the list, and click OK... as long as you right-clicked on
the top of the thread, the whole thread will be copied in there (as
individual messages)
