I can import my vidoe clip no problem and add transitions etc - my problem
occurs when I try to clip it or simply press the pointer onto the clip in
the time line. MM" suddenly appears with an error box and needs to shut down.
I have sent the error off and it states as is below:
When You Are Using an Out-of-Date Version of the C-Media Cmaudio.ax Driver
File

I have done a search and cannot find any help how to rectify this. I am
using Windows XP Home, SP2 and MM2.1

Any ideas please???????????
thanks

see the Problem Solving > Crashes and Hangs page of my website... with
MM2.1, it should be as easy as using the Tools > Options > Compatibility tab
and unchecking the codec
