When I try and right-click save as for pictures, i don't get the option to
save the picture as a jpeg or gif, only art or bitmap... how do I change this?

Also, my pictures are not displayed with their file extensions, how do i
change this?

Please help, i have been unable to find the answer :o(

Thanks so much,
Jon

For the missing file extensions...try these steps:
1.. Double-click My Computer.
2.. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and click
the View tab.
3.. Click to clear the "Hide file extensions for known file
types" check box.
4.. Click OK.
