I have a Samsung Mini DV which I previously used to capture video in Movie
Maker with an IEEE 1394 connection. When I try to capture now and finish the
wizaed an on screen message states video not captured correctly - verify the
video camera and capture device are configured correctly.

I cant work put how to do this!!

Steve,

I am having the exact same problem as you using a Panasonic PV-DV52S-D
Camcorder and an IEEE 1394 connection. This camcorder worked great on my old
computer system using Windows XP and Windows Movie Maker. Now I bought a new
Dell system with Windows XP with Media Center 2005 and nothing seems to work.
I tried using several different capturing software packages as well and keep
getting similar errors. So, there is something wrong missing that I believe
Microsoft will have to fix in an upcoming patch or something. Hopefully
we'll get an answer soon!
