___ I've had no problems.
_X_ I've had problems (please include brief description).
PC does not go to S3 standby with RU2 installed. After removing RU2
(and going back to RU1) everything works fine. With RU2 installed PC
goes into S3 standby when MCE is not running. When MCE is running
nothing happens. |

_X__ I've had problems (please include brief description)
Very frustrating intermittent errors with no apparant cause. I'm now
sending error reports to MS daily and rebooting the PC each time.
The Remote only works after S3 standby 50% of the time (approx)
I also remember a drm.exe error during installation
The Optimization appears to fail each time.

_X_ I've had problems (please include brief description).
MCE crashes occasionally when I press the mute button on my remote. This did
not happen before installing Rollup 2.

I've had problems with Rollup 2
Live TV no longer worked,
registration errors,
messages to technical support of code 3
I followed some of the tips found in the discussions but keep coming up with
the same results. Used system restore to bring it back to a usuable state.

Yes I had problems.
HP Media Center PC m 1070n
After installing the rollup, no live TV
I always create restore points before this type of update.
Rolling it back fixed it.
Sounds like the benefits don't outweigh the time involved to "MAKE" it work.

I have problems:
Very minor, but on my Intel D820 dual processor, if I hover over an HTML
link in the primary monitor with the mouse, the TV display on the second
monitor will freeze. Never happened previously. This desktop has an
ATI X600 256MB PCIExpress video card. Otherwise, no problems.

Yes - Problems here.
1) Recording from standby mode: PC will wake and record the program but
fails to go back to sleep afterwards.
2) Although i now receive DVB-T radio listings in the EPG, I am not able to
listen to them. MCE shows the screen stating Digital Auido Broadcast but I
hear nothing.

When I press pause or stop in video playback I get a black screen and a WMCE
error box saying ' Component Registration Failure' . Only way to regain
control and restart is through CTRL ALT DEL.

Re: Survey - Problems with Rollup 2? |

Couple questions:
- What happens when you go to My Videos on the PC itself?
- Are there any errors in the Application, System, or Security Event Viewer
logs (right click My Computer --> Manage) corresponding to the time that saw
this issue
- If you move all of your video files and folders out of My Videos and
delete the thumbs.db and ehthumbs.db files (both of which are hidden), do
you still see this issue?

rollup. The "My Videos" works fine on the main PC, but crashes as soon
as I try to start "My Videos" when logged in as another user, and on
both of my Extenders (Linksys & XBox).
I do get a "crash error" message when trying to use "My Videos" logged
in as another user, and I get a "00020002" message when trying to use
the Extenders. I tried to rollback, but then Media Center would not
work at all.
I wish I had left well enough alone, because I don't have a clue as to
